01 AI systems

Intelligence, put to work.

An AI system earns its place when it solves a real problem. I bring that question to the architecture, the product, and the way a team ships.

Razortooth AI

Built in-house at Playermon

A Telegram community agent built by my studio to converse with players and help moderate the community. Earlier, my work at Hexon Data brought smart-city analytics to two Malaysian local governments.

What I take forward

Start with the workflow. Give the model a job, define its boundaries, and make its output useful to a person.

02 Blockchain engineering

Trust needs infrastructure.

The interesting work starts below the token: consensus, ownership, migration, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Trivechain

Protocol development lead · from 2018

Led development of a public blockchain: consensus upgrades, wallets, explorers, and tokenization infrastructure. When the network wound down, the work included moving holders to a new chain.

What I take forward

Design for the whole lifecycle. A responsible migration matters as much as a successful launch.

03 Product & leadership

Built beyond the demo.

Technology is only part of delivery. Teams, incentives, and the decisions made under pressure determine what actually survives.

Playermon

CEO · 2021–2025

Led a studio that grew to more than 60 people and shipped an NFT marketplace, SpaceDen, PvE and PvP games, and Space Invasion, including its Telegram mini-app port.

What I take forward

A product needs a reason to exist after the incentives end. That experience shapes how I advise founders today.

My Playermon chapter ended in 2025. What it became after the handover is their chapter, not mine.

Made tangible.

Good engineering includes making things understandable. Explore the mechanics, change an input, and see what happens.

Tan Ji Sheng, engineer and founderKuala Lumpur, Malaysia

An engineer who kept
ending up in the
founder's chair.

From campus radio to smart-city AI, a public blockchain, a game studio, and now digital-asset custody. Every chapter changed how I build.

I write down the lessons, including the difficult ones. Because the most useful thing experience can offer is better judgment.
