Engineer, founder, adviser.
I'm Tan Ji Sheng, an AI and blockchain systems architect based in Malaysia. I help teams build systems they can understand, verify, and operate. My thirteen years of building include eight in blockchain, starting at Trivechain in 2018.
I studied computer science at Multimedia University, then pursued a TM R&D-sponsored Master by Research in deep learning for network-fault prediction. The project was delivered and a paper published in 2018; I left before completing the thesis. That research sits alongside practical work in smart-city systems, protocol engineering and product leadership.
Today I am CEO of GamBit Custody, GamBit Group's digital-asset custody arm, regulated by Securities Commission Malaysia. The mandate is fractional by design. I also work independently on architecture, technical advisory and fractional CTO engagements. Digital-asset custody and succession are a particular focus; AI and blockchain can each be useful independently.
As Treasurer of the Malaysia Blockchain Association since the 2025 AGM, following my term as Vice President from 2019–2025, I also contribute to the community around the work.

Craft, given away
For the Bodhi Temple I build animated devotional panels, free — a write-your-blessing page for phones (live at bodhi.tanjisheng.com) and ambient animations for the temple's hall displays. Four deities so far, each built for a ceremony — in service since September 2025. The demos below walk the flow end to end: write a wish on your phone, watch the panel carry it.
