Tan Ji Sheng — speaker bio

Tan Ji Sheng is an AI and blockchain systems architect, engineer, founder and adviser based in Malaysia. His building career began in 2013; his blockchain work began at Trivechain in 2018, where he progressed from blockchain developer to development lead. He led Playermon as CEO from 2021 to 2025.

He is CEO of GamBit Custody, GamBit Group's digital-asset custody arm, regulated by Securities Commission Malaysia. His mandate is fractional by design, alongside independent architecture and technical advisory work. He is Treasurer of the Malaysia Blockchain Association, following his term as Vice President from 2019 to 2025.

His speaking includes Malaysia Blockchain Week 2026, Bloconomic 2018 and 2019, BCcon 2018, MaGIC x MBA in October 2019, SME CEO Forum in November 2019 and the IIUM KICT Postgraduate Colloquium in December 2019. Topics include blockchain engineering, AI deployment, digital-asset custody and succession, and product delivery.

He holds a BSc in Computer Science from Multimedia University. He pursued a TM R&D-sponsored Master by Research at MMU and left before completing the thesis; this was not a completed master's degree. He completed the online Blockchain Strategy Programme at Said Business School, University of Oxford, in November 2018.
